Food Photography for Santa Clara Restaurants
About 60-70 minutes from Santa Clara, our San Francisco studio at 1890 Bryant Street gives restaurants, cafes, bakeries, hotels, and food brands access to polished food photography without turning production into an all-day process.
We've built our workflow around the way Santa Clara hospitality teams actually operate: tight schedules, brand-driven imagery, and content that has to perform across menus, delivery apps, hotel websites, advertising, and social.

Photography Services for Santa Clara Restaurants, Hotels & Food Brands
Restaurant Food Photography
Food photography and video for menus, signature dishes, chef features, cocktail programs, delivery and takeout platforms, advertising campaigns, websites, and branded content.
For on-location shoots, we capture the full story of your restaurant or hotel dining room: the space, the team in service, dishes coming together in the kitchen, and the atmosphere that tells guests what to expect before they arrive.
Menu & Hero Photography
Hero images that anchor your menu, website, delivery platforms, printed collateral, and marketing campaigns. Each dish is carefully lit to bring out texture, color, freshness, and the craft behind it — food that looks natural, appetizing, and true to your restaurant.
Social Media Content
Stills, reels, and stop-motion content built for the way South Bay diners actually find restaurants today — through Instagram, Google, Yelp, and delivery apps. We shoot with variety in mind so you leave with a strong content library, not just a handful of menu shots.
Seasonal & Campaign Work
Santa Clara restaurants and hotels move through a steady rhythm of seasonal menus, holiday programming, conference catering, tech-campus events, and limited-time launches. We work with owners, chefs, marketing teams, and agencies to create imagery that fits the campaign without feeling overproduced.
Beverage & Pairing Imagery
A specialty we've photographed for Beringer Wine, L'Aventure Winery, Chloe Solene, Charles Woodson Intercept Wines, and a range of other food and beverage brands.
From wine and cocktails to coffee programs, tasting menus, and signature drinks, we bring a refined, natural approach to beverage imagery.
How We Work With Santa Clara Restaurants & Food Brands
01
Discovery Call
We start with a conversation about your restaurant, menu, goals, brand style, shot list, and where the images will be used. You will know what to expect from planning through final delivery.
02
Pre-Production
We plan the visual direction before shoot day: lighting, backgrounds, props, surfaces, plating needs, shot order, and content priorities. This helps the shoot move smoothly and keeps your team focused on the food.
03
Shoot Day — Studio or On-Location
Many Santa Clara clients choose to shoot at our San Francisco Mission District studio, which includes a full working kitchen, natural light, and a styling pantry built specifically for food and beverage production.
For projects that need the atmosphere of your dining room, hotel restaurant, bar, patio, or kitchen, we travel throughout Santa Clara and the South Bay for on-location shoots.
04
Editing & Delivery
After the shoot, you receive a curated set of professionally retouched images ready for menus, websites, delivery platforms, advertising, social media, email, press, and print.
What Happens on Shoot Day?
Restaurants usually want to know how production works before booking a shoot.
Depending on the production, restaurants either send prepared dishes with recipes and plating notes, or we work alongside a professional food stylist who finishes and plates dishes on set according to your chef's specifications. This allows your kitchen team to stay focused on service while we handle the camera-side details.
A Working Kitchen Built for Production
Our studio includes a full kitchen with prep, cooking, and plating space so dishes can be finished fresh and photographed at their peak. Sauces stay glossy, herbs stay vibrant, cocktails stay crisp, and delicate dishes hold up beautifully under studio lighting.
Props, Surfaces & Tableware Included
We maintain a curated collection of plates, linens, glassware, boards, and surfaces in the studio for food and beverage shoots. For most productions, we supplement the studio collection by sourcing additional props specifically tailored to your restaurant, menu, season, or campaign aesthetic.
Custom Styling for Campaigns & Launches
For larger hospitality campaigns, hotel openings, product launches, or highly art-directed shoots, we can bring in dedicated prop and food stylists to source custom pieces tailored to your brand.

What Our Clients Say
Reviews from creative directors, brand teams, and chefs we've worked with.
"Christina has become our go-to studio photographer, and for good reason. Her work is consistently beautiful, and she's equally great with both photo and video. She brings such optimistic, positive energy to every shoot day — always open to trying something new, and just as happy to guide us when we're stuck. Her team is highly skilled and incredibly efficient. I would absolutely recommend Christina to anyone looking for studio photography."
Photo Art Director, SF Product Brand
"We've worked with Christina and Jeff on photoshoots for my ecommerce brand, The Foggy Dog, for the past four years and they have been exceptional partners from day one. Professional, highly skilled, kind, and genuinely passionate. They don't just get the shot; they insist on getting THE perfect shot. They are also the fastest at delivering edited photos that I have ever seen — often under 24 hours. I highly recommend them."
Founder, The Foggy Dog
"I've worked with Christina and her team on many shoots and it's been a great experience — beautiful work, great communication, and a professional but relaxed environment on set. Our shoots have mainly involved detailed ingredient photography for packaging, and they handle everything with great care and attention to detail. As a creative director, I really value her experience and collaboration — my clients are always very happy."
