Photography Services for Napa Valley Restaurants & Wineries

Restaurant Food Photography

Food photography and video for menus, seasonal launches, chef features, cocktails, advertising campaigns, websites, and branded content.

For on-location shoots, we capture the full story of your restaurant: the atmosphere, interiors, chefs at work, dishes coming together naturally, and the lifestyle moments that make guests want to visit.

Menu & Hero Photography

Hero images that anchor your menu, website, printed materials, and marketing campaigns. Each dish is carefully lit to bring out texture, color, freshness, and the craft behind it — food that looks natural, beautiful, and appetizing.

Social Media Content

Instagram-ready stills, reels, and stop-motion content designed for the way wine country diners discover restaurants today. We shoot a large variety of images, so you will leave with a strong content library.

Seasonal & Campaign Work

Napa Valley kitchens move with the harvest. We work with chefs, wineries, hospitality teams, and marketing directors to capture seasonal menus, tastings, holiday programming, special events, and limited collaborations.

Beverage & Wine Pairing Imagery

A specialty we've photographed for Beringer Wine, L'Aventure Winery, Chloe Solene, Charles Woodson Intercept Wines, and a wide range of food and beverage brands, bringing a refined, natural approach to wine country imagery.

How We Work With Napa Valley Restaurants & Wineries

01

Discovery Call

We start with a conversation about your menu, brand, creative direction, and where the imagery will live. By the end of the call, you'll have a clear understanding of the shoot process, timeline, and deliverables.

02

Pre-Production

We handle the visual planning in advance: styling direction, props, surfaces, lighting approach, and shot organization. Our goal is to make shoot day feel efficient, collaborative, and seamless so your team can stay focused on the restaurant.

03

Shoot Day — Studio or On-Location

Many Napa Valley clients choose to shoot at our San Francisco Mission District studio, which includes a full working kitchen, natural light, and props designed specifically for food and beverage production.

For larger productions or projects that need the atmosphere of your dining room, vineyard, kitchen, bar, or hospitality space, we travel throughout Napa Valley for on-location shoots.

04

Editing & Delivery

After the shoot, you'll receive a curated gallery of professionally retouched images ready for menus, websites, press, advertising, social media, and print collateral.

What Happens on Shoot Day?

One of the first questions chefs and restaurant owners ask is:

"Do we need to cook during the shoot?"

Usually, not much. Depending on the production, restaurants either send prepared dishes with recipes and plating notes, or we work alongside a professional food stylist who finishes and plates dishes on set according to your chef's specifications. This allows your kitchen team to stay focused on service while we handle the camera-side details.

A Working Kitchen Built for Production

Our studio includes a full kitchen with prep, cooking, and plating space so dishes can be finished fresh and photographed at their peak. Sauces stay glossy, herbs stay vibrant, cocktails stay crisp, and delicate dishes hold up beautifully under studio lighting.

Props, Surfaces & Tableware Included

We maintain a small, curated collection of plates, linens, glassware, boards, and surfaces in the studio for food and beverage shoots. For most productions, we supplement the studio collection by sourcing additional props specifically tailored to your restaurant, menu, season, or campaign aesthetic.

Custom Styling for Campaigns & Launches

For larger hospitality campaigns, seasonal launches, winery collaborations, or highly art-directed shoots, we can bring in dedicated prop and food stylists to source custom pieces tailored to your brand.

Getting to the Studio from Napa County

Many Napa restaurants come to our Mission District studio for shoot days: it's a comfortable round trip, and our full working kitchen and styling pantry make for an easy production.

For shoots that need your dining room, vineyard, or kitchen as the backdrop, we also travel up to Napa for on-location work throughout the valley.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you travel to Napa Valley for on-location shoots?

Can you shoot both photo and video in the same production?

Absolutely. Many clients combine photography and short-form video during the same shoot day to create a complete content library for websites, advertising, Instagram, and marketing campaigns.
